Altai closed for entry of citizens of China

The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Altai temporarily suspended the issuance of permits for Chinese citizens. This was reported by the news agency in the press service of the agency. The decision was made in accordance with the order of the Government of Russia. Employees of the department will not accept and issue invitations to enter the Russian Federation to work. The issuance of permits for the recruitment and use of foreign workers and work permits to these citizens outside the territory of the Russian Federation has also been temporarily suspended until special notice, added to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic. Recall, the decision of the government, due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, since February 4 temporarily restricted the entry into Russia of foreigners from the territory of China at air checkpoints. According to the news agency, the restriction does not apply to citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union countries, as well as crews of aircraft, members of official delegations and persons with a residence permit in the Russian Federation.
