Professional football player convicted of drug trafficking in Bryansk


The player of the Higher League of the Championship of the Republic of Tajikistan was convicted in Bryansk. The professional athlete got caught on distribution of drugs, reported on February 12 in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office. A 29-year-old resident of Moscow was detained in Bryansk in June 2019. The football player worked on the distribution of drugs received prohibited substances in Noginsk of the Moscow region and laid them in caches-bookmarks in the territory of Bezhitsky district of Bryansk. After detention it became known that the athlete was wanted by the capital operatives for repeated driving in a drunk state. The court sentenced the football player to ten years six months 'imprisonment in a maximum security colony and banned him from driving for three years. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
