Scania has stopped most of its plants in Europe
Most of its factories in Europe are stopped by Swedish truck manufacturer Scania. This is stated in the press release of the group published on March 18. The work of most of the European plants will be planned by the management of Scania Group from March 25. The reason for the temporary interruption of the plants was the lack of components necessary for assembly, caused by logistical problems and supply failures due to the coronavirus pandemic in European countries. At the same time, CEO of Scania Henrik Henriksson specified that service centers of the company and spare parts centers will continue their work. The preliminary shutdown of production at the company's enterprises in Sweden, the Netherlands and France will last two weeks. Scania plants in Latin America continue their work. Earlier, the news agency reported that according to WHO, the number of people infected with coronavirus infection in the world exceeded 200,000.
