The reason for the temporary interruption of the plants was the lack of components necessary for assembly, caused by logistical problems and supply failures due to the coronavirus pandemic in European countries. At the same time, CEO of Scania Henrik Henriksson specified that service centers of the company and spare parts centers will continue their work. The preliminary shutdown of production at the company's enterprises in Sweden, the Netherlands and France will last two weeks. Scania plants in Latin America continue their work.
