International coalition military left another base in Iraq

Soldiers of the international coalition led by the United States left the Iraqi air base Al-Takaddum. This was announced on April 4 by the representative of the coalition on the official Twitter page. According to him, the military base held a solemn ceremony of transfer of property to the Iraqi military for the amount of $3 million 500 thousand. The coalition representative noted that the withdrawal was planned and not related to attacks on the Shiite militia base. We remind that the international coalition led by the USA fought in Iraq with fighters of the Islamic State (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), but clashes with Shiite militias, as well as the murder of Iranian general Kasem Suleimani caused increasing irritation from the Iraqi government.
