Ground public transport resumed in Kiev

Kiev has begun the second stage of easing restrictive measures taken due to the threat of coronavirus infection, in which ground passenger transport has been resumed. This was reported on May 23 in the press service of the Kiev City State Administration (KGGA). Kiev is resuming ground passenger transport from today, the statement said. It is stressed, buses, trolleybuses and route taxis began to carry out transportation from May 23, in public transport it is necessary to observe epidemiological requirements and to use individual means of protection. The Ministry also reported that the metropolitan metro for passengers is planned to open from May 25. We remind that earlier the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov during the briefing said that the contamination of coronavirus in the capital of Ukraine does not allow to open the metro. According to the news agency, according to the Center for Public Health under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours in Ukraine the number of detected cases of coronavirus infection increased by 432 and amounted to 20,580 cases. According to the latest data, 17 people died from the COVID-19 of the disease during this period, 344 patients recovered. A total of 6,929 recovered and 605 deaths were recorded.
