More than 17,000 children have been born in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic
Since the declaration of the state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic in Kyrgyzstan, 16,904 births have taken place, resulting in 17,043 children. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic. Among the newborns, there are 8,548 boys and 8,495 girls. Of the total number of births in Kyrgyzstan during this period, 68 cases of the birth of twins and one case of the birth of triplets were recorded.
