Tehran offers Kabul assistance in organizing peace talks


Iran is ready to organize peace inter-Afghan negotiations, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on June 22. Tehran made such a statement after negotiations between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Mohammad Hanif Atmar, acting head of the Afghan foreign ministry. The Iranian Foreign Ministry said it was ready to accept negotiations in case of a request from Kabul. Recall that negotiations between Zarif and Atmar took place in Iran on June 21.
