To see the grave of Napoleon: Hitler visited Paris
23 June 1940 Adolf Hitler visited Paris. Arriving in the capital of the conquered France, the next day after the armistice in the forest of Compiegne, the führer enjoyed the views from the place de La Concorde, stood at the tomb of Napoleon and photographed against the backdrop of the Eiffel tower. His companions, among whom were the architects and the sculptor, Hitler promised to make Berlin more beautiful in Paris.
