Details of the planned tourist spacewalk became known
The first spacewalk from the International Space Station will last about a hundred minutes. On July 4, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Russian representative office of Space Adventures. In June, the Russian company RSC Energia (part of Roscosmos) signed an agreement with a US company Space Adventures to organize a flight to the ISS for two tourists. A short visit of tourists to the orbital station is planned for 2023, and for the first time in history, one of them will make a spacewalk. Space Adventures said that the tourist exit overboard the ISS will last much less than the usual exit of astronauts. Crew members leave the orbital station to carry out work overboard for 6 7 hours, while tourists will spend from 90 to 100 minutes in space. The astronaut is not professional, and the difference between such an exit and six to seven-hour is fundamental, Space Adventures emphasized. It is noted that during such an exit, a tourist will be able to see most of the Earth, since the orbital station makes a complete revolution around the planet in an hour and a half. As previously reported by the news agency, in June, the astronaut of the American aerospace agency NASA Jeffrey Hoffman said that during the spacewalk, tourists will not be assigned any work, since their implementation requires long preparation.
