In Senegal, a seasonal rainfall fell in one day

Senegal's President Macky Sall has activated an emergency plan to help the population after a seven-hour downpour that caused massive floods. It is reported by the news agency Reuters. According to forecasts of the Senegalese meteorological agency ANACIM, thunderstorms and showers are again expected in most of the country. Last week, heavy rains were recorded in the Sahel regions of West and Central Africa, including Nigeria, Chad, Nigeria and Cameroon, causing devastating floods that killed dozens of people and forced thousands of others to flee their homes.
