In Ukraine Radu can be transferred to remote mode of operation

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada are currently studying the possibility of holding meetings remotely, said on March 17 the head of the faction Servant of the People David Arachamiya. In particular, an associate of Zelensky announced the development of a special bill that will allow Rada to work in remote management mode. There is an article of the Constitution that says there should be MPs assembled in Parliament but given the extraordinary circumstances, we are looking for a legal model of how to work for the duration of epidemics, Arachamiya said. The news agency recalls that in his address the day before, President Zelensky demanded that Rada continue to work despite the national quarantine. Zelensky stressed that changing the work plan of the Rada is unacceptable at the moment, as rapid reforms are an ambulance for the economy. On the morning of March 17, Rada held an extraordinary emergency meeting, during which several coronavirus laws were voted, and a new Prosecutor General of the country and Minister of Economy were appointed.
