Trump and Modi discuss fighting coronavirus infection
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump held telephone calls to discuss measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. This was announced by the Indian Prime Minister on 4 April on his official Twitter page. There was an extensive phone conversation with President Trump. We had a good discussion and agreed to deploy all forces of the Indian-American partnership to fight COVID-19, the message reads. Recall, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as of April 3, 1,965 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in India, of which 50 patients died, in the USA the total number of infections 213,600, of which 4,793 were fatal.
