Two people died of COVID-19 in Moldova

In Moldova, 2,344 COVID-19 have been cured of death so far. Over the past 24 hours, 64 patients have been discharged from medical institutions of the Republic. This was reported on May 16 in the press service of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection of the country. According to the Ministry, two more people died of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths in Moldova was 204. 231 patients with COVID-19 are in serious condition, eighteen of them are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. 507 patients are in moderate condition, and the condition of the rest of the patients is satisfactory. To date, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1,290 medical professionals. Of these, 302 are infected doctors, 483 nurses, 65 paramedics, nineteen pharmacists, 421 medical support staff. Recall, the total number of coronavirus infections in Moldova is 5,745 cases.
