British Foreign Ministry to prepare sanctions for human rights violations in Belarus

Sanctions against those responsible for serious human rights violations in Belarus are preparing to introduce Great Britain. This was announced on September 24 by British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab during a meeting of the country's parliament. Given the delay in Brussels (with the introduction of sanctions measures) and the fraudulent inauguration of (Belarusian President Alexander) Lukashenko, I ordered the sanctions department of the Foreign Ministry to prepare sanctions (in accordance with the so-called amendment) Magnitsky against those responsible for serious human rights violations, Reuters quoted him as saying. He also pointed out that while working on these sanctions measures, coordination will be carried out with Canada and the United States. According to the news agency, earlier the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said that Minsk had never sought confrontation and had always advocated dialogue with international partners.
